Australian company Anika Natural Products contract manufactures a variety of natural and certified organic skincare products. The family business produces for brands that export globally.
While the ultrasonic tube-sealer has up-to-date technology, it could only code on one side of the tube’s end. However, Anika’s client legally needed coding on both sides of the crimped end.
Anika already had two Linx printers from Matthews Australasia that it was very pleased with, so approached the coding specialist for a quick solution. Matthews recommended a Linx CJ400
continuous inkjet (CIJ) printer.
The Linx CJ400 was installed and operating within a week, allowing Anika to properly service its customer without too much lag time. It is using the coder to put a batch code and a best-before date onto the crimped base of little plastic tubes.
