Inkjet Marking and Coding Machines
Keep your production line moving with reliable inkjet marking machines from Linx. Our continuous inkjet printers apply clear, high-speed, non-contact codes directly onto products and packaging, including batch numbers, date codes, expiry dates, barcodes, QR codes and GS1 Data Matrix codes.
Whether you are marking bottles, cans, cartons, flexible packaging, metal parts, cables or dark substrates, Linx can help you choose the right printer, ink and setup for your line.
What is inkjet marking?
Inkjet marking is the process of printing variable information directly onto products, components or packaging using an industrial inkjet printer. In production environments, this usually includes information such as best-before dates, use-by dates, batch numbers, lot codes, serial numbers, barcodes, QR codes, Data Matrix codes and traceability data.

For fast-moving production lines, continuous inkjet marking, often called CIJ, is a popular choice because it prints without touching the product. That makes it suitable for curved, uneven, delicate or moving surfaces such as bottles, cans, pouches, cartons, cables and metal parts.
Linx inkjet marking machines are designed for real manufacturing conditions, from simple everyday coding through to high-speed lines, washdown environments and high-contrast pigmented marking.
Find the right inkjet marking machine for your application
Choosing an inkjet marking system is not just about the printer. The right solution depends on your substrate, code size, line speed, production environment, ink adhesion, changeover frequency and traceability requirements.
